1. C8 Almost Complete

    I’ve almost finished my C8CQB AEG, and to be honest it’s been a bit of a nightmare!

    The rifle is together and looks awesome, I got the fire selector issues sorted, but now it’s struggling to feed! I’ve tried my real caps, mid caps and high cap magazines with no joy.

    I’m a little disappointed with the quality of the Guarder medal body as the front left receiver pin hole on the lower is about 2mm higher than it should be. I thought this could be the cause of the feed issues so remove the pin and secured the lower correctly in place for a test fire and still nothing.

    This leaves maybe three issues it could be:

    • Hop issue
    • Air nozzle/tappet issue
    • Mag well

    Although it looks great, I have to say I won’t be in a hurry to build another AEG. I think I’ll stick to building custom gas pistols and buy AEGs ready built.
